Résumé
PALE BLUE DOT

I’ve long been familiar with the Pale Blue Dot, yet it’s rarely mentioned that the iconic image was part of a project on the brink of cancellation. The photograph holds profound meaning, not just in its visual impact but also as a testament to the significance of space exploration. This booklet serves as a way to uncover the behind-the-scenes story of this renowned image. Alongside Carl Sagan, the visionary behind the project, it explores the relationship between humanity and the vast universe.

Starting with the image Pale Blue Dot and a brief introduction of this image, this spread aims to create a space for people to look at that dot and feel it.
Information related to space exploration is provided to give viewers a broader view of what else is important in that mission.
The second half of this booklet is Carl Sagan's speech on Pale Blue Dot. I broke down sentences—like his pause during that speech—to leave spaces for people to think and resonate with what he said.
The background images of this section are space images from the Earth to the galaxy. Making people feel they're on that journey with Voyager 1.
Pages of this booklet showcase the gradient from black to pale blue.
