Résumé
NOW FOREVER

The project reflects a self and collective contemplation on the fleeting nature of contemporary art. My fascination with ephemerality begins with works that exist only in a moment—art that cannot be owned, only experienced. I designed this book through trial and exploration to go beyond simply documenting these works—it becomes a temporal experience. While sharing it with those who reflect on art’s impermanence, it is also an invitation to question how we engage with the transient. This curated collection captures more than the visual essence of each piece; it attempts to intertwine the artists’ temporal intentions with the immersive qualities of print.

The first section is an article that directly talks about the temporality of contemporary art as an opening to the exhibition—giving the viewer a basic understanding of what this exhibition is about.

The artist section always starts with a quote from the artist talking about the temporality of their work. Every project is printed full bleed to the edge, giving viewers an immersive experience even in a book form.

The last section has interviews with Cai Guo-Qiang and Christo and Jenne Claude. While the artists talk about their design process of temporary projects, their sketches are on the side. Just as the artist said, even for themselves, the only thing last is the sketch.

The cover has all project names printed in transparent UV so that viewers should pay extra attention to see them—same as those time-sensitive artwork.
